福壽於100週年，包括副總統賴清德、國民黨主席江啟臣、全國商業總會理事長賴正鎰、工商建研會理事長郭國聖等政商人士皆到場祝賀。

福壽實業第三代董事長洪堯昆表示，祖父一開始是賣花生的，從彰化芳苑用小船，把花生載到台中的梧棲上港，再拿到沙鹿去賣，後來才慢慢開始把小顆的花生拿來榨油。

1920年，福壽以一部木製榨油機運轉，開啟台灣油脂製造先河，至今福壽已在飼料、油脂、寵物食品、肥料生物科技等領域占有一席之地。

洪堯昆董事長並指出，在企業百年發展過程中，面臨過許多挑戰，如大宗物資開放自由化、產業競爭激烈,使飼料業，以及食用油脂業從早期的百家爭鳴到現在縮減成10幾家的局面。
